Any unevenness in texture is not a defect, but a characteristic of the handwoven product and a part of the process, that makes it unique.                                                                                                                                           

WashCare:

First few washes - Dry Clean . Later  washes, gently hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry the saree in shade. Iron in medium heat only on reverse side.

Store saree in a muslin cloth away from sunlight in a dry environment.

Air the textile every few months.
